As we close out the year, it’s always great to look back and reflect.
I’m really proud of the achievements we have all accomplished, and
with my last entry for 2015, I want to challenge you to do one thing:
make something you can hold, touch, feel that you’re proud of.
Maybe it’s your favorite photo of the year, maybe it’s pushing that
client to purchase an album, or maybe it’s a photo of your family
on vacation. It doesn’t have to be the best—just one thing that will
make you happy, or better yet, someone else happy. I’m going to
get some prints made from our family photos this year (thank you Blonnie Brooks and David
Mielcarek!) and hang them in our house.
Perhaps this is the year you make those holiday cards and send them to your clients!
Forget the email blast holiday offer (that will only go into their junk mail)
and instead write them a note with their personal promo code and a link
to their gallery. Don’t overthink it—just do it! I’d love to receive one.
Finally, take a bow and give yourself a high five. Wishing you all
a great holiday, and a happy, healthy new year!
