Lens Bumper Protection
OmegaBrandess and DeluxGear are marketing a
new line of protective covers for camera lenses.
Designed to absorb impact and prevent scrapes,
scratches, dent and cracks, the new patent-pending
Lens Bumpers give photographers confidence when
they accidentally drop their lenses or walk through
crowded wedding reception tables. Lens Bumpers
attach by simply sliding them over the lens or
lens hood. They consist of a touch 0.08-inch Santoprene outer cover and a water-resistant
inner core made of 0.25-inch closed cell Neoprene, the same material used in diving suits.
List prices range from $24.99 for small and medium Lens Bumpers, to $74.99 for the “Giant.”

Generation Ink Documents New York Tattoo Art
Photographer Paul Nathan’s first work, Generation Ink: Williamsburg, Brooklyn, visually chronicles the “
generation of 20-somethings” who regard tattoos as a form of self-expression and a memento of personal freedom.
The New Zealand-born Nathan shot the book’s images in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, in which resides a veritable
walking art gallery with flesh as the medium. Described as an unsentimental snapshot of a moment in time,
the 104-page, 8x10-inch hard cover photo book, with essay by Nadine Rubin Nathan, is due out this month.
Price: $29.95. Generation Ink can be purchased at Amazon, Barnes&Noble and other retail outlets.
